Marion Diehl Park Small Shelter #1 This Small Outdoor Shelter is located behind the Recreation Center near the Tennis Facility. The Shelter can hold up to 20 people and has the following amenities: charcoal grill, small playground, and a restroom facility close by at the Tennis Center. This facility is available for reservations. Reservations are 8:00am to Sunset. Mecklenburg County resident reservation fee: Monday – Thursday $21.00 Friday – Sunday $52.00 Holidays $52.00 Non Mecklenburg County resident reservation fee: Monday – Thursday $31.00 Friday – Sunday $67.00 Holidays $67.00

Come join us for Charlotte’s first Gothic Tea Party.

Let’s kick off spooky season with something a little different. Break out the Edwardian and Victorian inspiration and have a Tea Social!

We will have a variety of Hot Tea and chilled Fruit Teas. A variety of sweets and snacks.

We encourage everyone to be creative and bring some “Tea-time” inspired snack or treat.

If you happen to have a favorite tea, tea cup or tea pot, feel free to bring that as well. Don’t have anything to bring, don’t worry about it and just bring yourself.

Donations will be accepted to help cover costs of the event, any extra funds will be donated. We are hoping for this to be fun and whimsical enough that everyone will want this to become an annual event.
