New to Charlotte’s Goth, Industrial and Dark Scene?
First, welcome! We do mean that – we pride ourselves on looking scary and being supportive. The only thing we expect is mutual respect for the folks from many different walks of life that choose to dress up spooky before they go out, which is to say that bigotry and intolerance have no place here. If you’re looking to start showing up we do have monthly events with no cover, the most popular free night being Requiem at Tommy’s Pub. Our most popular night continues to be Digital Noir at The Milestone.
If it’s your first time out, don’t overthink things! None of our events have a dress code beyond the venue requirements. Nobody’s checking and you’re welcome no matter what, but black clothing clears the bar everywhere. We have folks that go in groups and folks that go alone (which is both common and totally fine). Dark scene folks are friendly and talkative and we’re always happy to meet new folks, but you’re also more than welcome to stay quiet and vibe.
